Ruth Reichl’s Sour Cherry Crostata
PIE NIGHT IS BACK! We're kicking off Autumn and the start of pie season with our favorite tradition, and a selection of our Pie Night pies are available for online pre-order for pick-ups from September 10th-October 3rd (with 48 hours advance notice).
Here's our Sour Cherry Crostata by esteemed writer and author Ruth Reichl – filled with sour cherries and a hint of lemon zest in a crisp cookie-like demerara crust, baked until gooey on the inside and golden on the outside.
Please keep all pies refrigerated until serving. To serve, pre-heat oven to 350°F, heat the pie for 10-15 minutes until the center is warm. You can also joy it at room temperature. Best eaten within 2 days of purchase.
